Letter from the Editor: The Life Given Radio Passes 150 Episodes

The Life Given Radio eclipsed 150 episodes all time on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. The Straight and the Narrow episode on God's sovereignty marked the 151st episode.

I launched TLG Radio in December of 2019 with The Life Given Podcast. Initially, a political-cultural commentary podcast, it has since morphed into a news brief that will soon run its 100th episode on Friday, July 16th.

In October of 2020, we launched the Cut and the Dry podcast, co-hosted by Kip Mock and myself. Our inaugural episode analyzed the first presidential candidate debate. We quickly pivoted into a young men's Christian living podcast. The podcast is now a weekly show and is well on its way to becoming one of the most consistently listened to shows on the network!

In February of 2021, Industrious launched as a DIY, homemaking podcast. Hosted by Micaiah Shaw, a wife and a mother of two young tikes, the show has seen discussions ranging from meal planning to minimalism to camping. Most recently, Micaiah discussed the need to enrich your summers for your children.

The most recent addition to the Network was Sanctifying Story in June 2021. Hosted by Ryan Ayers, a recent graduate of New Saint Andrews College, this literary podcast seeks to analyze literature through the lens of a reality shaped by Jesus Christ. In his latest, Ryan discussed Sand County Alamanac.

The goal of The Life Given Radio is to produce content on a daily basis that engages culture in a variety of fields due to the fact that this life is not our own. We are well on our way as we are publishing seven episodes every two weeks from four very different shows -- all of which are driven by the shared vision that this life is a gift.
