The Life Given Network is in the middle of a transition. Initially, it was composed of a news site and a podcast channel. Now it will be a society and culture blog alongside the podcast channel.
What's the goal? This change provides an opportunity to engage in every sector of life. Ranging from sports to homemaking, from literature to reporting on current events, and from political cartoons to hot takes from Scripture.
What's the difference between a news site and a society and culture blog? Now there isn't a limit on what our contributors and creators can write about. Previously, the news site made it difficult to run stories that got into opinion and discussion, but this transition will open the door up for our creators and contributors to write more expansively.
Why the change-up? This transformation will allow us to brand ourselves as a "network" and work more in tandem with our podcast channel.
Will the personnel be different? We are currently working through that -- all of the podcast creators are staying on board. But some of our former contributors are busy with their own projects currently!
When is this transition going to happen? It has slowly been evolving over the course of the last few months and will continue to be a slow build. There will be more content rolling out on the blog in the coming months as we continue to figure out what this looks like specifically.
All in all, I am very excited about this change that brings coherence and continuity to the podcast channel and blog!
